Il giardino dei Finzi Contini

Released in 1970, this The Garden of the Finzi Continis is the screen adaptation of Giorgio Bassani’s successful novel published in 1962, directed by the acclaimed maestro Vittorio De Sica. It won the Golden Bear at the 1971 Berlin Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language the following year. This is also the number-one longseller in France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and United States in the period 2008-2017.
